A DIY Flower Crown and Grace Loves Lace – An Intimate Farm Wedding in Austin Texas

A few miles from the heart of Austin, Texas sits Springdale Farm, the cutest family-operated sustainable Urban Farm. For Amanda and Taylor, it was the perfect place to start their lives together. And so they did, surrounded by friendly ducks, chickens, vibrant wildflowers, and their closest family and friends.

The amount of love and happiness packed into these photos by Bonnie and Lauren Photography is impossibly contagious. I cannot wait to share this magical day with you!

Amanda got ready in the chic bridal suite with a few family members and her sweet flower girls. She slipped into an incredible Grace Loves Lace Soho gown and topped off her look with a stunning flower crown handmade by her mother.  Sandy Hinojosa and Holly Walseth of Pearl Austin nailed the bride’s hair and makeup.

In a nearby room, Taylor dressed in a stylish blue suit and funky socks. Several men wore festive button-ups with fun prints, adding just a hint of cohesive flair to the night. We love a wedding with style!

Framed in glowing string lights and billowing trees, this is by far one of the most stunning ceremony spaces we’ve seen. Personal touches like their Welcome to the BEST Day Ever chalkboard sign and vintage cardbox were the perfect accessories to this earthly, bohemian venue!

A beautiful crystal chandelier hung over the bride and groom from a majestic tree, and guests sat on rustic wooden benches. Three adorable flower girls dressed in white lace OneLittleWildflower dresses, gold sandals and baby’s breath flower crowns sashayed down the aisle, followed by the cutest little Bible Bearer. Amanda and Taylor linked hands at the altar in a haze of joy. The way these two looked at each other during the ceremony gave us all the feels.

Can we, for one second, talk again about the fact that this bride’s mom custom made her flower crown AND bouquet?  Stunn-ing.

After the ceremony the guests grabbed cold beer, soda and sparkling water out of an antique white tub before wandering around the reception space. A massive teepee-style tent was adorned with more string lights, and wooden farm tables were draped in greenery and various flowers. Each place setting included unique china and glassware atop white linens with frayed edges (rentals by  House EventsBirch & Brass and Whim Hospitality).

The couple strolled around the farm as newlyweds, taking photos with the animals and using nature and the gorgeous house on the property as their backdrop.

These are our favorite two photos of the night.  So. Much. Happy.

Let the party begin! Amanda, Taylor and their guests ate mouthwatering Texas BBQ and danced their way into the night to the twang of the banjo. A few sunset photos under the romantic twinkle lights and a bird seed send off wrapped up their best day ever.
