Alexa and Ryan’s best day ever on August 26, 2017 was nothing short of stunning. The wedding took place at Spirit Ridge at NK’MIP Resort and Vineyard, a breathtaking destination in Canada’s only desert. Stunning views of Osoyoos and the vineyards were the perfect natural backdrop for wedding photographer Natalie Dollman.
Alexa got ready in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids. She enjoyed a mimosa and sat outside on the deck while Laine Dagneau completed her hair and makeup. What an incredible place to soak in all those wedding day getting ready feels!! The girls wore dusty blue lace robes by SS Weddings. The bride then changed into her stunning Katie May gown, slipped on her sparkling Jimmy Choos and added a touch of bling to her updo with a Viva Bridal hairpiece.
Ryan also enjoyed epic views that morning from his suite. We loved the unique pattern on his blue Pal Zileri suit from Nordstrom. He completed his wedding day look with Prada shoes, a Ferragamo belt and a black Nixon watch. The groomsmen kept it simple in stylish slacks, a white shirt and suspenders from Mantinique.
Before the first look, the couple’s flower girl stopped by for a special surprise. Willow wore a white lace top and tulle tutu by Pop Sparkle and looked so sweet. Ryan gifted her a beautiful silver bracelet that she’ll cherish forever. This is such a perfect way to make the little ones in your wedding party feel special and important!
Alexa and Ryan had their first look in the vineyard. The two walked the length of the vines separately and met at the end. The bride held an impressive bouquet by Polkadot Door. The beautiful mix of eucalyptus and white florals is so bridal and timeless. The two held hands and shared wedding day kisses with permanent smiles on their faces. You can tell they were so excited to finally be husband and wife.
The sunny rooftop ceremony was intimate and emotional. Shiny gold geometric terrariums, greenery, orchids and floating candles lined the aisle (rentals by Okanagan Event Rentals). The couple recited their own vows and had their first kiss surrounded by incredible views and the love of family and friends.
The wedding party headed back down to the vineyards for photos. This group of bridesmaids and groomsmen look like so much fun, laughing always and popping celebratory bottles of champagne. We’re loving the light and airy JJ’s House bridesmaid dresses.
Alexa’s veil stole the show in their sunset photos. The two climbed a grassy hill overlooking the vineyards and then posed on top of an edgy rock. Both the bride and groom looked so happy and in love! The reception was just as beautiful as the ceremony, with gold accents, greenery, a beautiful mirrored escort card display and types of wine as table settings. Alexa and Ryan shared their first dance under a crystal chandelier and then spent the rest of the evening celebrating with their friends and family (and lots more champagne)! Engaged Life is SO happy for these two and feels lucky that we got to share their wedding day. Welcome to married life Alexa and Ryan! You’re wedding was a stunner.
