We’re swooning over this Winery Wedding in the Santa Cruz mountains. McKenzie and Robert tied the knot at beautiful Regale Winery. From the dramatic stone fountain in the ceremony space to the masculine barrel room where the groom got ready, this venue has it all. Cadencia Photography captured so many beautiful photos it was tough to pick our favorites. We could not be happier for these two!
McKenzie got ready in the winery’s bridal suite, a stunning room with a massive fireplace overlooking the gardens. The girls and moms wore matching robes from Plumb Pretty Sugar of course! The bride had her mother help her into her strapless lace Sarah Seven gown. Her something blue were suede cobalt pumps and we’re obsessed. Petite Petal Co. made babies breath flower crowns and the most incredible burgundy and white bouquets for the bride and her ladies.
Robert and his groomsmen hung out in the barrel room. He rented his suit from The Black Tux – if you haven’t checked them out and are still looking for a suit they have so many stylish options and great customer service!! He wore dark gray with a pop of red in his tie and the massive smile on his face in every photo makes it obvious he is so excited to marry the love of his life.
The ceremony took place outside, surrounded by lush trees on a terrace. Robert held back tears when his bride walked with her father down the isle and the two were beaming the entire time, but even more so after that first kiss.
We loved the couple’s timeline sign by Sweet and Crafty, which was framed in wood and draped with greenery. 10pm – Shots on the Shuttle!! What a way to end the night! Robert’s family owns Koloa Rum so naturally the wedding favors were miniature bottles of the tasty Hawaiian treat.
We just loved these wedding colors. The blue bridesmaid dresses from Morning Lavender were perfectly accented by the reds and whites of the flowers and ribbon. We also loved the bride’s idea to have two of the girls stand out from the rest by having them wear different flower headpieces. This was such a creative alternative to different bridesmaid dresses!
McKenzie and Robert snuck off at sunset to take photos surrounded by vineyards. Cadence got the lighting just right because these photos have the most perfect sunset glow. The couple look so happy and in love, it’s hard not to feel fuzzies just looking at them.
The reception space left us speechless. Long farm tables with gorgeous eucalyptus runners and twinkly market lighting overhead sat patiently waiting for wedding guests to arrive. The wooden building in the background was the perfect accent to an already stunning space. The bride and groom used wine barrels to display their Susie Cakes wedding cake, a sweet single tier with green ombre icing and an oversized gold sign that said Celebrate.
We can only imagine this night was even more magical than the photos and are SO happy for McKenzie and Robert. Thank you both for sharing your special and beautiful day with us, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
