All the Color, All the Love — A Vibrant Industrial Wedding

Sometimes tying the knot in the city makes it challenging to find epic photo backdrops, but not for Lauren and Casey of Krauter Photography. From ivy-covered walls to brightly-painted brick with pink origami cranes, these skilled photographers uncovered some spectacular photo-ops for Ellie and Brock’s wedding. Add this to a venue like The Speak Easy Broad Ripple, a mixed-use warehouse in the heart of Indianapolis’s arts and culture scene, and you have the recipe for an incredible, contemporary wedding.

We love how the bride mixed red and pink florals with baby’s breath to soften up the crisp building. The modern signage, hanging Edison bulbs, and stunning combination of wood, brick, and metal packed this gorgeous wedding full of color and industrial style. We cannot wait to share more from their best day ever with you!

The bridesmaids wore blush, burgundy, or beige to match the florals, each in her own unique dress style. Ellie’s stunning BHLDN gown featured clean, modern lines and off-the-shoulder sleeves. Her deep pink lip color was the perfect pop to her glowing smile and a clever way to match her babes.

The ceremony was short and sweet inside The Speak Easy. Ellie’s father weaved her through tables of seated guests, up a secluded staircase and onto the floating balcony where her groom stood, anxiously awaiting the love of his life. The intricate detail of Ellie’s veil was perfection, and so was the look on Brock’s face when he locked eyes with his bride.

The two sealed forever with a beautiful kiss, then stepped outside for a celebratory cheers! with their crew. We love the rainbow-colored backdrop and the radiating liveliness of this bunch. How fun to contrast their rich wedding colors with textured shades of blue, green, and distressed wood!

Ellie and Brock then strolled the streets of Broad Ripple as newlyweds, stopping for photos in front of a textured brick wall painted with bright cranes — a sure symbol of happiness and longevity. Remember their Welcome sign pictured at the beginning of this post? We have a hunch this wall acted as inspiration for those playful pink and red geometric shapes.

Brock and Ellie waltzed blissfully to their next private photoshoot. We’re not sure who’s drooling more — us, or this gorgeous wall of ivy.

After some much deserved alone time, the bride and groom made their way back to the venue to continue the party with their friends and family. As the lights turned down, out came a barbecue dinner and lots of dancing under the twinkle lights. We’re so excited for Ellie and Brock and wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, firsts as husband and wife.

Welcome to Married Life, you two!! XOXO
