Amy and Denis were married in Ramona, California at Hidden Oaks Weddings. Not only is this venue beautiful and intimate with its mature oak trees and serene landscape, but it was the perfect place for Michael Derjabin to photograph his first-ever wedding because it was where he also tied the knot — so nostalgic! L’Belle Weddings did an amazing job coordinating the day and we cannot wait to share it with you!
From grand pianos to blue and blush striped wallpaper, this enchanting home was full of perfect photo backdrops while getting ready. The girls wore navy blue floral robes, with Amy in white. Marina Shcherbak dressed Amy in long, flowing curls and Abigail Gomenyuk added stunning makeup enhancing her natural beauty, making her feel beautiful inside and out for her best day ever!
The bride slipped into her lace Allure Bridal gown from Miosa Bride. The intricate detail on the long train and the scalloped lace neckline made it both stunning and unique. We love her bright emerald engagement ring and classic closed toed heels. The bridesmaids wore powder blue dresses with lace tops and flowing skirts, which beautifully complemented the mixtures of white and pale pink roses with baby’s breath and greenery. We love this sweet and sophisticated combination!
The ceremony space was lush and sunny. Tall oak trees surrounded a glistening creek behind an arch covered in greenery and white flowers by Simply Wedding Design. The cutest kiddos ever played very important roles in the couple’s wedding day: Two flower girls with oversized flower crowns, woven baskets, and lace sleeves joined two adorable little boys in suits and bow ties. There were so many perfect shots of these four, we couldn’t choose just one!
The bride and her father walked across a wooden bridge covered in bright pink flowers and framed by trees, then down the petal-covered aisle. Amy and Denis shared vows and prayed with family and friends to bless their beautiful marriage.
The newlyweds had a creative take on cocktail hour, featuring a barista with hand-poured espresso drinks. Dreamy dinner tables with flickering candles, powder blue napkins and a touch of greenery anxiously awaited guests. The incredible ceremony arch was repurposed as a photo backdrop!
What bride needs something blue when she’s got six babes in blue standing by her side?! The wedding party joined forces for photos, cheering the newlyweds on when they kissed for the camera.
The sun began to set as guests sat down for dinner. Amy and Denis made their way from table to table, taking photos with nearly each and every person in attendance (we love this idea!). They gifted their mothers a massive bouquet of red and white roses and hugged their MOH and Best Man after what we’re sure were some incredible speeches.
The cake was simple and stunning: two white tiers accented with greenery and white roses, sitting on a stand almost as tall as itself! The happy couple sang their way into nightfall under twinkly lights and a sky full of stars.
After the wedding, Amy and Denis set out for Auburn to walk hand-in-hand along train tracks, lie in fields of wildflowers, and share a few Just Married kisses on top of beautiful rolling hills. These two are so in love and we had a blast experiencing their wedding through these incredible photos. We hope Amy and Denis have so many more magical and beautiful days like this one. Welcome to Married Life, you two!
