Bride Teress described her wedding day as “The best day ever!” and from the smile on her face in every photo captured by Krauter Photography we can tell that’s how she felt on July 29, 2017 when she married Zack and partied the night away with family and friends. “Everything was fun from the very beginning“, said Teress. So we’ll start there…
The bride and her besties got ready at her parent’s house in Indiana. Bridesmaids wore the cutest blush button downs and Teress got ready in a robe with lacy sleeves. Tangled Up Salon and Wild Horses Salon teamed up to get this party ready for the the big day. Teress’s hair was breathtaking, a long loose braid with baby’s breath sprinkled throughout. The low back of her Berta gown framed her updo beautifully and we have yet to see a wedding dress quite like this one, with a sparkling skirt and beaded bodice, the bride was catching light from all angles. Bridesmaids wore mis-matched Bella Bridesmaids dresses with two maid of honors in shimmering dresses to match the bride’s. Teress had two sets of bridal shoes, silver Kate Spade heels and an awesome set of Keds for the dance party.
Wildwood Floral Co completed the look with bouquets full of proteas and blush roses, accented by white florals and greenery. The squad headed to the catholic church the bride grew up in for the ceremony (and a quick dance party before Teress walked down the aisle).
Zack and his groomsmen wore Vera Wang suits, the groom in classic black with a black tie and groomsmen in grey. We loved the pop of color in Zack’s socks! Socks, pocket squares and ties are all great places to add some color to the groom’s wedding day look!
How stunning is this church? It’s stained glass, wooden beams and lush flower arrangements were the perfect backdrop for a ceremony. Loved ones watched as Teress and Zack promised forever together, the ceremony looked sweet and meaningful. To celebrate, the newlyweds shared their first kiss as husband and wife and then walked back down the aisle together, thumbs up and high fives all around!
We could tell right away this was a lively bunch. More thumbs up and lots of laughs made this one of our favorite wedding party photo sessions. The love and happiness captured in these photos makes us feel like we were there!
To end the session, Teress and Zack walked down a tree covered pathway hand in hand and slow danced. The lighting was perfect and magical and these photos are something we’re certain they’ll cherish for years to come.
No wedding is complete without a full of fun reception!! Teress and Zack reunited with family and friends at the Biltwell Events Center in Indianapolis to celebrate! The indoor space has beautiful wood floors, bountiful market lighting and an exposed brick wall. Teress chose geometric terrariums and greenery centerpieces, with a show-stopping hanging floral arrangement over the couple’s seats.
Their first dance looked straight out of a fairytale, Teress’s gown floated over the dance floor and captured the light of the setting sun. The bride describes her father daughter dance is goofy, through photos from the wedding day, we can imagine her dad’s personality and he seems like a pretty fun guy.
Mix Tape Indy kicked off the dance party and everyone took the dance floor. “The whole day was about love, having fun, and celebrating life and the people in it. It was perfect”, says Teress. We know this incredible best day ever was just the start of this couple’s adventure together. Engaged Life wishes you both a lifetime of love, happiness, dance parties and thumbs up. Thank you for letting us share your wedding day!!
