Espresso Your Love — An Industrial Coffee House Engagement Shoot

Emily and Mitch cuddled up for their engagement session at the coolest coffee shop, which had been converted from an old warehouse. We loved this space.  The exposed brick, green doors, and vintage furniture all made perfect backdrops!

We learned some great lessons after swooning over this shoot by Jenna Marie Visuals.

  1. Real smiles, always.  Any great photographer should find ways to make you laugh naturally.  For this couple, it was fart noises and nose licks (whatever works, right?!).  This may seem weird when you’re in the moment, but your photos will feel authentic and full of emotion!
  2. Accessorize.  We love how Emily threw on a hat for a second look, proving outfit changes aren’t necessary, a new accessory will do the trick!
  3. Try different spaces.  Who would’ve thought an industrial alley and a warehouse coffee shop would be such great places for an engagement shoot?  Explore unexpected locations that will bring out your playful personalities.

Happy Engaged Life you two!  We loved sharing your photos and hope you frequent this trendy coffee shop long after you’re married.  XOXO
