What do you get when an event coordinator and wedding DJ get married?? Possibly the most epic party ever is the correct answer. Jenn and Chase tied the knot in Rock Hall, Maryland at Haven Harbour. This place was already so special to the couple because it’s where Chase asked Jenn to marry him.
Erin Krespen joined the smiling bride in the venue’s charming blue cottage where the women got ready for the wedding day. Up Do’s for I Do’s (bonus points for most fun vendor name) gave Jenn romantic curls twisted back and held in place with a boho crystal hairpiece. She wore Alexandra Grecco’s stunning Samantha gown which had a high-low hem and a dramatic cape, perfect for the windy waterfront. We loved her gold Madewell shoes and unique bridal jewelry. The bride was glowing as she walked down to the rocky shore to meet her groom for the first look.
Chase’s details photo made us laugh. He had not one, but two personalized flasks as well as a koozie labeled ‘Mr. Right‘. This groom was definitely prepared for the best night ever. He rocked a classic black tuxedo with a bow tie and Florah Boh completed the look with a bright boutonniere. The groom stood facing the marina, anxiously awaiting his bride.
Could her dress or his reaction have been more perfect? We don’t think so. All smiles, the couple walked the property after the first look, stealing kisses and smiling constantly.
The ceremony took place on the lawn overlooking the marina. Jenn and Chase wrote a heartfelt thank you note to family and friends on their wedding programs. These two also rocked a personalized monogram, our favorite wedding day trend! Tiny gold dinosaurs waited patiently for the ceremony to end so they could show energized guests to their seats. The bride and groom handmade the incredible geometric backdrop at the front of the aisle.
Wearing matching shades, Jenn and Chase walked together down the aisle. The bride’s mother held her bright bouquet while Chase’s grandmother officiated. They took shoots to celebrate beginning their next chapter together (heck yes!) and their contagious smiles as they got annouced had guests feeling the love!
Drinks and oysters = the best cocktail hour combination! We love this creative appetizer idea. Jenn and Chase snuck off for a few to take advantage of golden hour but it didn’t take long for them to join the party. Their first stop? Posing with props from the Pixilated photo booth!
Timber Pizza served delicious pizza then guests made their way inside the glamorous white reception tent sprinkled with market lighting, to find their gold dinosaur and enjoy a slice or two. Jenn and Chase shared a first dance (but mostly just laughed), cut their Krispy Kreme wedding donut, and danced the night away with District Remix.
We have never seen so much smiling at a wedding and could not be more happy for the bride and groom! We wish you so many more awesome parties like this one, windy days to remind you of marina shores, and that you stay madly in love until extinction. Welcome to Married Life Jenn and Chase!
