Morgan and Braden got married at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, a stunning 2,000 acre property with views of the Laurel Highlands. David McCandless Photography captured the couple’s best day ever and shared the incredible photos with us so that we could pay it forward and share with you!
They day started in the bridal suite with bride-to-be Morgan, joined by besties and moms. Simply Captivating Styling, Adrienne Pace and JL Makeup Studio were a dream hair and makeup team. Morgan wore her hair down in perfect loose curls. Her makeup enhanced her beautiful eyes and show-stopping smile. She gifted each of the ladies matching monogrammed robes in grey and she wore white (of course). We love getting ready outfits that look cozy and adorable at the same time!
The bride’s mother helped her into her timeless Anne Gregory dress. The neckline was lined with delicate bling and soft lace covered the bodice and skirt. She was glowing as she snapped photos with her glamorous bridal party and cutest flower girl ever. Morgan held a bouquet by Neubauers Flowers that was packed full of white florals with long stems and leafy eucalyptus.
Braden got ready in a nearby suite with his groomsmen. He wore charcoal Jos A Bank suit with a trendy striped bowtie. His crew walked confidently down a treelined pathway, smiling the entire way.
A wooden sign with white calligraphy welcomed guests. Neubauers Flowers sprinkled magic around the ceremony space with florals accenting the signs, chairs, and wooden arbor. Morgan held back tears as her father walked her down the aisle. She and Braden incorporated the Cord of Three Strands into their vows, braiding three oversized pieces of rope mounted on on a rustic wood frame. A keepsake we’re sure they’ll frame in their home to forever remind them of their commitment on this magical day!
The sweetest first kiss was followed by family photos and GoPro Fireball shots with the wedding party. What a perfect way to get the celebration started!
Before joining their cocktail hour, Morgan and Braden enjoyed golden hour with their photographer. Hand-in-hand they walked over rolling green hills, shared intimate moments under a tall tree, and had some creative fun with the bride’s epic veil in the sunset light. The couple looked so happy and in love as they walked back to meet family and friends for their reception.
Neubauers Flowers blows us away again with dramatic centerpieces and single white roses in bud vases. Tea candles in mercury votives gave the entire space a rich, warm glow. The couple listened to heartfelt speeches prepared by their loved ones, cut into a classic white four-tier wedding cake, and danced the night away with Rhythm6.
The evening ended with a colorful fireworks show. We are so happy for Morgan and Braden and wish them a lifetime of happiness and visits to Nemacolin, where they’ll always remember the amazing memories from their wedding day. Welcome to Married Life!!
