Rachel and Jordan’s boho best day ever at The Ice House, a trendy loft venue in downtown Phoenix, Arizona was Pinterest worthy. Annie Ruby took the most incredible photos, capturing the emotion, love, laughter and ultimate rad-ness of this day.
The bride got ready with her mom and besties in a bridal suite with old brick walls lined with vintage mirrors. She wore her long, dark hair half up, held back with a fishtail braid that cascaded down her back. She chose a long sleeve lace gown from one of Engaged Life’s favorite dress designers, Dreamers and Lovers. The dress was delicate, modern and fit her perfectly. Her bridesmaids traded comfy velvet robes for shimmering dresses in all shades of pink!! To tie it all together Array Design created colorful bouquets of burgundy, blush, blue and greenery. Just wow!
Jordan and his handsome crew got ready in a nearby room. They chose classic black suits with skinny ties and goofed off while helping the groom get dressed.
The couple chose Monroe Abbey, a historic baptist church with stunning architecture, for their first look. Jordan had tears in his eyes when he turned to see his bride for the first time. Gracefully, Rachel wiped them away. These two looked so sweet and in love in the moments before they said I Do.
Our favorite part of this wedding day was their incredible alter. Three dynamic macrame pieces by Woven By Ro hung from the venue’s cement wall with white linen and greenery as accents. Bright Turkish rugs lined the aisle and set the stage for the ceremony. A shabby side table housed bread and wine for communion. Absolute perfection.
The groom reacted beautifully as Rachel walked towards him with her father. The two shared vows in front of loved ones and celebrated with a first kiss and ear to ear smiles! The energy in this space feels electric even through photos!
Before the reception the newlyweds posed in front of a blush wall covered in painted clouds. Then they joined family and friends for chandelier lit first dances, a trendy donut wall, and an unforgettable sparkler exit. We are beyond excited for Jordan and Rachel and hope they’re enjoying Married Life even more than Engaged Life!! We wish you two a lifetime of beautiful memories, firsts, and National Donut Days!
