Photographer Meghan Diniz describes Seriena & Mathew’s best day ever as a DIY masterpiece, and we’d have to agree. Handmade bouquets, centerpieces, and even their wedding cake made this couple’s wedding unique and allowed friends and family to help make their dreams come true!
The bride and her girls got ready in matching floral robes and did not turn down an opportunity to jump on the bed for a cute picture! Seriena’s mom gave her a sweet hug after helping her into her dress and we love how Meghan captured the moment in the mirror. The wedding gown had dainty beaded straps and a sweetheart neckline. Seriena accessorized with a long, lace-rimed veil and crystal headpiece. Classic with a touch of boho!
Mathew and his groomsmen prepped for the day in a nearby room. Photographer Meghan did an incredible job capturing this crew’s energy! You can almost hear their laughter in each photo. The groom wore a stylish Indochino black suit and trendy floral tie!
Welcome To Our Beginning was the greeting the couple chose for guests as they entered the ceremony space. Handmade mason jars of honey were displayed in a beautiful basket, a delicious and creative wedding favor!
Seriena walked down the aisle with her father towards her teary eyed groom. Family and friends watched these two share heartfelt vows and celebrate their beginning with a first kiss.
After the ceremony, the wedding party snuck off to a woodsy meadow for photos. Light from the sun bounced through the trees and all around them. The girls held bouquets overflowing with white and blush florals and greenery. These bouquets were handmade with flowers for Safeway y’all (we’re impressed)!! The bridesmaids wore mis-matched emerald dresses from White & Ivory and groomsmen rocked the same floral ties with grey suits.
Seriena and Mathew enjoyed alone time before joining their reception. They walked the property hand in hand, stealing kisses along the way.
Dinner and dancing took place in Grand Prairie’s Pomeroy Hotel. Tables were covered in candles and the couple designed a creative head table backdrop of twinkle lights, greenery and gold letters decorated with florals. Seriena and Mathew listened to sweet speeches, cut the two tiered wedding cake a family friend made for them, and danced the night away! The last two magical sparkler exit photos capture the love and excitement from this best day ever.
Welcome to Married Life you two!! We are so impressed by your DIY skills and wish you a lifetime of crafty projects, sunlight filled meadows and candlelit dances!! XOXO
