Noah and Savanah’s wedding was one for the books. For starters, their venue had dozens of perfect photo backdrops, and photographer Kiley Lauren, with magical edits by Anna Duncan, took advantage of each and every one. 701 Whaley is a restored historic building in Columbia and prides itself on being one of the area’s most popular venues. You’ll see why after one scroll of this page. Let’s start in the bridal suite.
With colorful cement floors and blue walls worn with age, this space was dreamy. Bride Savanah smiled for photos with her girls, showing off their comfy and cute satin robes. She rocked the most perfect top knot we’ve ever seen, vintage earrings, and a permanent smile. Her mother helped her into the most incredible and unique wedding gown from Gown Boutique. The dress featured long lace sleeves, a stunning neckline and lace slits. Savanah looked like something out of a fairytale.
Noah and his buddies enjoyed drinks as they suited up. Each wore classic black with a skinny black tie and brown shoes. Guys ask us all the time if you’re allowed to wear brown shoes with a black suit, the answer is YES. And more YES!! If you need proof these photos should help.
Noah and Savanah’s first look too place in the venue’s courtyard. Rich red brick and greenery in all the right places. Can we just take a minute to talk about the way he looks at her? These photos caught our eye the minute we saw them on Instagram. We knew these two were madly in love and just had to see more from their wedding day. Savanah paired her updo with a classic cathedral veil for the ceremony. The perfect last touch to her ensemble.
Amazing Moments Weddings designed a beautiful bouquet of eucalyptus and white flowers for the bride. Bridesmaids, who wore stylish long black dresses, held baby’s sweet breath bouquets to match.
Before the ceremony, the bride and groom spent a few more moments alone in a beautiful room with original hardwood floors and white walls. We’d like to think Noah whispered “Let’s do this!” before he left Savanah and met his parents to walk down the aisle. Amazing Moments Weddings not only dreamed up the prettiest florals for the space, they added gold geometric terrariums with candles and a white birch arch wrapped in linen from Something Borrowed SC.
Family and friends watched as these love birds said their vows and shared a first kiss as husband and wife! We love the special moment during the ceremony where their wedding party gathered around to pray with them. Noah and Savanah headed back to that same courtyard where he set eyes on her for the first time on this magical day. But this time it was different. They were married, the market lights were bright, and he didn’t take his eyes off her. Not once.
Let’s get this party started!! The reception took place in the grand hall. Tables were decorated with gold compotes overflowing with flowers and more geometric terrariums. Hudson’s Classic Catering, Ed’s Bartending and TJ McKay Entertainment teamed up to make sure this was the most fun night. The first dance was magical, the speeches had the whole room laughing, and Noah and Savanah cut a show-stopping four tier wedding cake by Bonnie Brunt Cakes. These two played the just married shoe game (we wonder who won) and ended the night with a magical sparkler exit.
Noah and Savanah, we wish you two a lifetime of happiness, twinkle lights, and giant smiles. Your wedding was so beautiful and these photos will be an inspiration to others! Welcome to Married Life!!
