Daisy and Travis picked St. Patrick’s Day in Lake Tahoe for their wedding. Little did they know, that spring would be packed (literally) full of snow!! The couple wasn’t expecting a winter wonderland but the bride describes their best day ever as the most stress free and magical time and the photos by Baylie Ranae capture these beautiful memories perfectly.
Some of our favorite Tahoe vendors joined this couple at the iconic Resort at Squaw Creek, starting with Love is in the Hair. Daisy chose a loose updo so that she could show off trendy gold earrings and her Mikaella Bridal gown’s incredible keyhole back. Her bouquet from Love and Lupines had the most amazing king protea, blue thistle, white florals and greenery. This work of art was definitely one of our favorites of this wedding season. Vow books, invitations and the groom’s suit were spectacular shades of blue and his suspenders and socks were green to celebrate the Irish holiday. We loved these subtle pops of color.
Daisy could hardly contain her excitement as she walked down the steps towards her groom for the first look. Afterwards, thirty of their closest friends and family stood proudly as they watched these lovebirds exchange vows and become husband and wife. Daisy’s mom walked her down the aisle and held her magnificent bouquet. The group shared laughter and tears of joy, and cheered while Daisy and Travis shared their first kiss as husband and wife.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds spent moments alone dancing under the venue’s market lighting and smiling from ear to ear. To kick off their reception, they invited their guests outside to watch fireworks. A champagne cheers signaled it was time to head inside to enjoy the warmth of beautiful candlelit dinner tables, decorated in greenery and white roses.
Welcome to Married Life Daisy and Travis!! You’re stunning Tahoe wedding was one for the books and we love how intimate and joyful each and every photo was. We wish you a lifetime of snow days, date nights with fireworks, and champagne on St. Patrick’s Day.
