True Love Lasts a Lifetime – Denali and Nick’s Waterfront Wedding

Denali and Nick had the most perfect best day ever at the Transit Shed in the Port of Anacortes.  Kalynne Paige says she’ll never forget photographing this beautiful day and that the couple stayed true to who they were and what made them happy.  Which makes us happy to hear because it’s absolutely all that matters.

Denali got ready with her bridesmaids in a cottage with cozy furniture and a white washed sunroom perfect for bridal photos!  She wore her hair half up with flowing curls and the sweetest floral hairpiece.  Her gown from I Do Bridal had the most incredible sweetheart neckline and intricate lace patterns.  What an absolute bombshell!

Nick wore a dark gray suit and classic black tie and his groomsmen accented him in a lighter shade of gray.  His crew walked him down a stunning tree-lined street to a grassy cliff overlooking the water where his bride would gently tap him on the shoulder for the first look.  We love that they decided to share their vows alone before the ceremony.  This is such an incredible way to get the best of both words, an intimate elopement and wedding ceremony with family and friends!!

After the first look the ladies showed off their bouquets by Marie Grace Design.  Denali’s was packed full of coral and white flowers to match the bridesmaid’s dresses, and her tribe held overflowing bunches of baby’s breath.

The ceremony took place on a wooden dock with the water and hills as a backdrop.  A beautiful arbor stood at the front of the aisle, covered in delicate greenery and flowers to match the bride’s bouquet.  As ships sailed by in the background these two promised forever to one another and shared their first kiss as husband and wife, before smiling a LOT as they celebrated hand in hand as they walked past loved ones down the aisle.

You thought the magic was over with the couple’s pre-ceremony session but the sunset adventure was just as good.  Kalynne did a seriously fantastic job capturing the energy and love between these two newlyweds.

The reception looked like the most fun party!  We loved the custom wine labels and thank you glasses.  The shed was decorated in market lighting and it’s tall ceilings and wooden rafters set the stage for a magical dinner and dance party.  Gere-a-Deli catered and Sounds Unlimited made sure guests were on the dance floor all night long.

As the sun set, husband and wife lit sparklers first to take photos along (love this idea) and then as they ran through a tunnel of their favorite people.  Denali and Nick, we wish you a lifetime of trips to your favorite Washington getaway, lots of laughter, and sparkler nights.  Welcome to Married Life!
