After browsing through photos of this colorful SoCal wedding, we put two new spots on our must visit list. Madera Kitchen and Griffith Observatory. Two epic places for stunning photos and magical moments. Shout out to our girl Ariele Chapman Photography for continuing to blow us away with beautiful and unique pictures.
Erica’s bridal look was elegant and timeless. Her vintage dress from New York Vintage was paired beautifully with an epic custom cape designed by Anita Dongre. She wore her hair back in a low bun with sprinkles of bright pink, red and yellow flowers from Flores De Bosquez. To top it off, she had one of our favorite bouquets to date. I think we counted at least fifteen different flowers and accents in this breathtaking arrangement. And each compliments the others perfectly. Erica definitely has an eye for style!
Rahul wore a bright blue suit and waited with his eyes closed for Erica to tap him on the shoulder. The first look was sweet and intimate, we think it was adorable that both opened their eyes at the same time and reacted with massive smiles.
After the first look, Erica and Rahul headed to the observatory for an unbeatable view of the LA skyline. The sun shined down on the soon to be newlyweds as they explored the property, stopping to laugh and twirl that incredible cape.
After their pre-ceremony adventure, they met friends and family at the restaurant for I Do’s. A birch arbor was decorated with wildflowers that drew your attention to the floor where a vintage rug marked the space where Erica and Rahul would become husband and wife. Rahul smiled gently as he watched his bride walk down the aisle and guests watched as they shared vows and exchanged wedding bands. A first kiss and they were ready to celebrate with dinner in the most airy and magical space!
The centerpieces. The votives and bud vases. The trees with lanterns hanging down from them. The ivy growing up the wall. Three single tier cakes decorated with golden polka dots and florals by Vanilla Bake Shop. We’re in awe of literally every little detail of this reception space. We’re certain this was a magical night that Erica and Rahul won’t ever forget.
