Cassandra and Austin’s Romantic Italy Inspired Wedding in Paso Robles

I’ve known Casi well over fifteen years, and when she asked me to help plan her best day ever I could barely hold in my excitement. Seeing these beautiful photos by Muse Moments brings me back to this incredible day. Allegretto Vineyards took my breath away. The moment you pull up you feel transported to Europe. From arched hallways to epic staircases and beautiful gardens, this is the perfect spot for a wedding or weekend getaway.

Casi and her bridesmaids met in the bridal suite to tie twine around each napkin and menu, tucking a small olive leaf underneath. TEAM Hair and Makeup joined them, giving Casi soft curls, swept to one side so that we could all get a good look at the stunning back of her gown. The bride-to-be sipped champagne with her besties on their private balcony and then met her mother inside to slip into a gorgeous wedding dress with the most unique lace detail. She wore a classic pearl necklace and we loved her gold bracelet with a single delicate pearl to match.

Austin wore a classic black tuxedo and bow tie. He gifted each of his groomsmen a personalized matte black flask and sat in the tasting room as he read a love letter from his soon-to-be wife.

Their first look may have been my favorite part of the entire day. Austin stood in front of the French inspired Abbey’s wooden doors. Fun fact, you can actually get married inside if you’ve got a party of 60 or less! Casi slowly approached him and they stood back to back, smiling and gently holding hands. The bride tapped her groom on the shoulder and his smile grew even larger when he turned around. After their first wedding day kiss, I handed Casi her jaw-dropping bouquet by Plain Jane Posy. The arrangement of burgundy and white florals, paired with olive branches and soft ribbon, fit the setting perfectly.

Guests were greeted before entering the courtyard by a custom wooden welcome sign with a list of the bridal party and officiant. We LOVE this modern take on programs. I know we said the Abbey was our favorite, but the courtyard was also spectacular. A stone fireplace served as the alter and Jane worked her magic, covering it with an asymmetric floral arrangement. Lanterns and pillar candles were sprinkled throughout the space and one of the couple’s favorite quotes rested against a wine barrel. Casi’s father escorted her on a Beauty and the Beast worthy staircase and down the aisle.

The ceremony was sweet and simple, and we just know Casi and Austin could not have been more excited to celebrate becoming husband and wife.

This wedding party was a blast to hang out with. Lots of laughter, selfies, and making sure the bride’s sister’s makeup stayed fresh through the tears of joy she cried the entire day (and night). If you’ve been contemplating ribbon for your bouquet, take a look at this burgundy and blush blowing gently in the breeze. Obsessed. The ladies wore shades to match the ribbons and the guys matched Austin, except with black ties. As the sun started to set, the twinkle lights turned on, making these group photos even more dreamy.

Before Casi and Austin got introduced to their reception, they stayed behind to take a few photos alone. There were so many beautiful backdrops even just in the courtyard, our favorites are of those awesome stairs and a kiss with a dip under the arch.

Let’s join cocktail hour and check out the tablescapes. Guests each received little bottles of olive oil with handwritten name tags. Such a cute and creative way to incorporate Italy into your escort card display. Casi and Austin chose dark wood farm tables and chairs from Taylor Rentals. Each had a greenery runner with pops of florals, hand calligraphed table numbers by Lamplight Lettering, and rustic lanterns. Delicious pies were displayed on wooden crates, each with a few florals for a pop of color. A triple tiered cake stood proudly at the center of the dessert table.

Casi and Austin shared their first dance at sunset and then danced with their family and friends under magical twinkle lights. I stood next to Kramer Events while he picked song after song to keep the party going, and guests wandered over to a gold sequin backdrop photobooth for a memento from this wedding day. Welcome to Married Life Casi and Austin!! We wish you a lifetime of love and snuggles with your new puppies, romantic wine tasting weekends in California and Europe, and feeling has happy as you did in front of that Abbey when you did your first look. Love you guys!!
