Southern food, Moody Weather and Sweet Sweet Dance Moves – Shae and Carl’s Loloma Lodge Wedding Day

Loloma Lodge is a bucket list venue for us, and after checking out Shae and Carl’s wedding you’ll understand why! Let’s start with Mattie Krall Photography in the family cabin, the spot where the bride got prepped and pampered for the big day!! This magical property has floor to ceiling windows that bring the forest inside, and we love the colorful textiles that almost perfectly match the peaches and burgundies of Shae’s bridal bouquet by Hey You Flowers. This pretty arrangement also has pops of bird feathers and a long ribbon that swayed gently in the breeze.

These unique florals also made their way into Carl’s boutonnière and the flower-covered ceremony arch, tucked into the forest and surrounded by mature trees. The groom’s reaction when he saw his bride for the first time was so sweet, and we’re sure their ceremony had family and friends feeling full of love and happiness! After I Do’s, the couple took advantage of the cozy cabin setting for family photos with their fur kiddo, who happily wore a handsome blue bowtie. Then they explored the property, laughing and embracing along the way.

A reception packed full of fun was ready for guests after cocktail hour. A bad portraits station, dessert table by Pie Spot almost too pretty to eat, and farm tables lined with bud vases, greenery and soft ivory runners. We just love everything about this magical place and day! Congrats Shae and Carl. We wish you a lifetime of forest adventures with your cute pup, all the pies you can eat, and memories as sweet as the ones you made on this day. XOXO
