Ocean waves, sandy toes and stunning bright florals are just some of the reasons why we’re obsessed with James and Alyssa’s LA backyard wedding day. Captured beautifully by Kami Couch, these two tied the knot surrounded by loved ones and tropical greenery.
Our favorite moment? These two decided to take a trip down to the beach before their ceremony with a pink surf board in tow. They laughed, kissed and danced in the sand before heading to the bride’s parent’s house for the ceremony. We love the free spirits and playful personalities that shine through in these photos. And getting pictures out of the way before the day’s events means more time spent with loved ones!
Our favorite decor? The pink and white flowers paired with pineapple and palm leaves were such beautiful centerpieces. Shoutout to the bride’s mother who purchased flowers at the LA Flower Market and arranged all of the centerpieces and bouquets herself! We also love those sage bridesmaids and cutest flower girl crew dressed in lace neutrals. Believe it or not, Alyssa’s gorgeous gown was from Amazon (with alterations by Dantella Bridal). To make sure guests enjoyed island vibes all night long, the couple and food catered by Tiki’n Lei Hawaiian Kitchen and delicious pineapple shaped donuts by Manna Donuts.
Congratulations James and Alyssa!! We wish you a lifetime of beach sunsets, good surf days and happily ever after. Welcome to Married Life.
