Cloudy Skies and City Views - Katelyn and Aaron's Alberta Engagement Session

We’ll let bride to be Katelyn tell us about her romantic proposal before sharing photos from her stunning engagement shoot with photos by Love Actually Foto.

“The legislature in Edmonton, Alberta Canada has always been one of our favorite places to go, wander around and take in the many Christmas lights hung in the trees. It was a lazy Saturday in January and we had gone out shopping for a bit. We were going to stop and grab take-out on our way home when Aaron asked if we could stop by the legislature and take a quick walk.

As we were walking though admiring the lights we stopped at a spot off to ourselves. We were just taking in the view when Aaron got down on one knee and proposed. He hadn’t even fully asked yet when a few girls walked past; gasped and yelled “oh my gosh they’re getting engaged!” It was such an exciting moment and the excitement of the girls walking by made it even more special. We went and picked up take-out after from one of our favorite restaurants and sat in the car overlooking the city where we talked about our future together and all we had to look forward to! We are so excited for our wedding in December 2021 and can’t wait for all that lies ahead of us!“
