Alexa and Bobby’s Tuscan Villa Wedding in the Sierra Foothills

“Our wedding was dreamy, romantic, elegant and classic. Our colors were very simple with mostly whites and golds and a soft lilac for a pop of color. I wanted candles and flowers everywhere but I also didn’t want to take away from the venues sweeping views. My husband and I are fairly simple people and wanted the venue to show it’s true beauty as well as our love.  I wish that we could relive our wedding day over and over but gosh these pictures do a great job of reminding us how perfect it was!” – Alexa

Let’s take you back to Alexa and Bobby’s sunny California wedding at Venticello, a Tuscan villa  located in the charming and historic town of Murphys, California. The very talented Anna Perevertaylo has a bright and colorful style, perfect for this venue with it’s unique landscape, intricate tile, and breathtaking views. Alexa and her besties sipped bubbly Veuve Dlicquot out of personalized champagne flutes before the bride slipped into her Essense of Australia gown. We love this dresses sparkly lace, full skirt and beautiful neckline. She wore her hair down in curls with a trendy braid and modest veil. Sweet Lilacs finished her wedding day look with a magnificent bouquet packed full of soft blush and white roses and sprays of greenery. Shout out to Lila and Sage for coordinating this beautiful day.

Bobby wore a classic black tuxedo and bow tie, and carried a monogrammed flask with tasty Woodford Reserve for the reception. They chose the coolest vintage door as the background for their first look, and the groom was beaming when he saw Alexa for the first time.

Afterwards, the couple met their wedding party for pre-ceremony photos. The ladies wore the prettiest shade of purple with miniature versions of the bride’s bouquet. The color was complimented by a bright grey pebble path surrounded by lush green landscaping.

The ceremony space was dreamy. Wine barrels were covered in florals at the start of the aisle and the most incredible flower covered arch framed a picturesque backdrop. Guests were given trendy umbrellas as shade from the sun and everyone celebrated when Alexa and Bobby shared their first kiss as husband and wife!

These cocktail hour details are some of our favorite. From copper mugs to custom koozies and the cutest Cheers sign, this table has me daydreaming about a cool summer cocktail. As family and friends enjoyed the view and sipped Moscow mules, the newlyweds took photos with family and then snuck off to enjoy golden hour alone. A thin canopy of trees provided the perfect amount of shade and sunlight for simply stunning bride and groom shoots.

The reception took place on the villa’s back patio, a balcony was decorated with a marquee Love sign and guests enjoyed both the view and the beautiful blue of an elegant pool. The bride and groom kept decor simple, greenery runners and glass vases with floating candles on each table. With scenery like this you don’t need much to make a space unforgettable. We love the floral decor on the back of their sweetheart table chairs!

Speeches, a romantic first dance, and tiers of colorful mini cupcakes rounded out this wonderful evening. Congratulations Alexa and Bobby!! We wish you a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness. Welcome to Married Life.
