Whinny the Pub, Macrame and Magic – A Colorful Farmhouse Styled Shoot

When a dream team of wedding vendors joins forces, incredible things happen. This styled shoot at Allen Farmhaus showcases the creative talents of so many of our favorite Texans.  Shout out to the woman behind the camera who perfectly captured the day, Shyann of Shy Laurel Photography, and Sweet Laurel Weddings and Events for coordinating and styling this beautiful farmhouse shoot.

Situated on 52 acres of prime Texas countryside is Allen Farmhous, an incredible venue with multiple reception options and more than a century of family history.  The striking open air Chapel features restored church pews and stained glass doors, bringing tradition to a modern setting, while the reception barn’s mirrored sliding doors let you soak up every inch of the panoramic views.

Perched near the Chapel is SassTass & The Pour House, Mobile Bar Co’s Whinny, the cutest mini mobile pub we’ve ever seen. Complete with a macrame and greenery backdrop, hand painted Sip Sip Hooray bar sign by Lazy Creek Designs, and the most colorful Soley syrups, this bar looks ready for more than a stylish shoot!

Rustic Romance Rentals decorated Whinny’s outdoor lounge with trendy furniture and decor, including a colorful Aztec rug, two chocolate brown velvet chairs, a bright collection of vintage suitcases, and textured pillows to match that macrame hanging.

We are swooning over these handwritten invitations by Lazy Creek Designs. From the hand-drawn map of the venue to the wax seals and organically torn edges, this suite has it all.  Nicole Mera’s jewelry added sparkle and shine to this shot with a striking platinum band and impressive halo diamond engagement ring detailed with even more diamonds along its delicate band.

The star of this collaborative shoot was definitely this farm table. Two Reiley and Rose floral arrangements packed with greenery and accented with red, peach and blush flowers stood proudly at the center surrounded by tall red candles fixed into brass holders. Dusty blue linens matched the runner draped along the length of the table. We love the use of fruit to add more color to the mix. Lazy Creek Designs showed up again with gorgeous place settings and menus.

To finish off this gorgeous table setting, Root Cellar Catering Co prepared three delicious courses and a cake that looks so yummy we can nearly taste it through the screen. We love their creative use of sliced pears and each tier’s unique texture.

Of course, no wedding is complete without a stunning bride and her groom. Keely modeled a flowing gown from Liv & Love Bridal, while Kyle rocked a blue suit with a two-toned vest and polka dotted burgundy tie. Blushd Beauty ATX swept Keely’s hair into a loose updo with a dramatic braid and added glowing makeup to complement the golds, reds, and blush tones of the day. Her bridal look was complete as Reiley and Rose tucked a small bunch of flowers and greenery into her hair. These two enjoyed dinner and cake before then headed into the wide open fields.

Tour the grounds with Keely and Kyle in the magical shots below. These vendors are a true dream team, and Engaged Life is grateful for the chance to share this inspiration with you all. Enjoy!
