Megan and Jared got married on the most beautiful misty day at Little River Farms in Alpharetta, Georgia. Nichole, from Wildheart Visuals, captured the intimate affair gorgeously. We can’t wait to show you their best day ever!
Florije Tahiri dressed Megan’s hair in long, loose wedding day curls while Morgan Gilmore highlighted the bride’s already stunning features. Before putting on her gown, Megan opened a gift from her groom. Wrapped in white and beige stripes was a framed constellation of their wedding day by The Night Sky with a sweet note on the back from Jared. We love this unique and heartfelt wedding gift and Megan’s priceless reaction of overwhelming joy.
The bride wore a show-stopping chiffon A-line gown from Lillian West with long sleeves and incredible lace detail. Her mom gently fastened each button, slipped on her shoes, then walked her daughter to a nearby room where her bridesmaids were waiting excitedly in matching grey satin robes. Megan proudly twirled, beaming with joy! She then revealed her dress to her dad and brother, who were both blown away, and went to meet her groom for their first look.
Jared also opened a gift while getting ready: a collection of letters and cards in a vintage wooden box from Megan, a keepsake we’re sure he will cherish forever. Underneath the love notes was a striking silver watch with a black face, which Jared put on almost immediately. It was time to see his bride!
The couple shared their first look just outside the ceremony space. Megan tapped Jared softly on the shoulder, who slowly turned around grinning from ear to ear. Her gorgeous bouquet, by All Things Floral, was full of greenery, roses and the most unique red flower that added texture and an extra pop of color! The two strolled under a classic black umbrella, stopping frequently just to look at each other and smile.
Jared and his groomsmen wore dark blue suits from Jos A Bank with complementing mismatched ties and pocket squares, a look we love!
Wedding party goals alert! How perfect are these group shots of the couple and their crew?! The bridesmaids, each in an elegant champagne maxi, held petite versions of the bride’s bouquet while the tall trees made an epic backdrop. We love their candid faces as the bride and groom kiss!
To complete their wedding party, Megan adorned her five flower girls with a baby’s breath flower crown — a precious moment from this day we absolutely love. Each little lady wore a white dress very similar to the bride’s gown with long, full skirts, lace tops and a golden ribbon accenting the waist. Her two ring bearers wore crisp white collared shirts and khakis decorated with bow ties and suspenders (so cute)!
It’s not every day we see seven kiddos in a bridal party, so we know you’re wondering too: why seven? Because when you’re as special as these guys and gals, it’s a no-brainer. Megan nannies the two eldest girls and calls them her “little best friends.” Two others are her cousin’s children, who she’s been loving on since they were born. Two more belong to her bestie, who she and Jared adore babysitting, and the tiniest of them all is Megan’s adorable cousin.
“They were my little gang of babes,” the bride said. Babes, indeed. We love this mini-entourage!
The ceremony space was intimate, with a massive stone fireplace as the altar and greenery placed over the mantel. The greenery spilled down the aisle next to tall, clear vases filled with water and floating candles. Megan’s cathedral length veil swept the floor behind her as she held her father’s arm and marched toward Jared.
Quintell, a youth pastor from the couple’s church, officiated the ceremony but stepped aside momentarily so the groom’s father, Art, also a pastor, could pray over his son and new daughter-in-law. Megan and Jared said their own vows to each other in front of their family and friends, and shared the most perfect first kiss as husband and wife!
Megan’s bride squad snapped more group photos after the ceremony, giving us a close-up of their different dress styles and floral arrangements. We LOVE the unique assortment the bride chose for each bouquet!
Megan and Jared joined their guests at the reception for delicious food by Gotta Have It Catering, signature cocktails, a pie bar and lots of dancing. A memorable sparkler exit rounded out this perfect day. We loved this amazing venue, the rad floral arrangements, and flower girls galore that made this wedding one of a kind!
We wish these two a lifetime of happiness and many more celebrations. It was such a blast experiencing this wedding through photos, we can only imagine how much fun it was to attend! Thank you for sharing your best day ever with Engaged Life!
