Alex and Kendall - A Magical Campout Wedding in Tahoe National Forest

When Alyssa Keys Photography sent us some sneak peaks from this boho best day ever we knew it was something special and couldn’t wait to share on the blog! Kendall’s alternative style and attention to detail blew us away. From her matching velvet getting ready robes, to her lacy Immacle gown and goddess headpiece, we loved it ALL! Don’t worry, we won’t forget about the groom. Alex rocked the coolest three piece tweed suit with a tie bright enough to match the florals in the bride’s bouquet.

They were married at Gaia’s Gardens under an epic arch made of tree branches, while guests sat on fluffy blankets and oriental rugs. The venue’s tagline is “let yourself be nourished by the forest” and we can see why after a browse through these magical photos. After I Do’s, the newlyweds went on an adventure, finding a trendy peacock chair in the woods, a greenery and floral wreath (made by the bride’s super talented mother) big enough for the two of them to sit in, and a bright red canoe that glided beautifully across crystal clear, leaf-covered water.

This whole day was something out of a bohemian fairytale. Gaia’s Gardens is a chance to disconnect, get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life and get back to nature. What a perfect destination for a wedding day! Congratulations Alex and Kendall!!
