Such Great Heights – Carly and Tommy’s Sparks Lake Wedding Day

Carly and Tommy adventured to Sparks Lake in 2020 to elope after having to cancel their wedding celebration because of the pandemic. In 2021, they invited their closest friends and family (and Kayla Cindy Photo) to come back to the magical spot where they said I Do. I spoke to the bride the morning of her wedding and her dream was for fluffy clouds and blue skies. Central Oregon delivered with the most epic backdrop for their ceremony.

From the acoustic guitar played by a friend in the background, to the effortless and colorful Hey You Flowers bouquet and the yellow wildflowers sprinkled across the ground, every single detail was perfection. We loved Carly’s long sleeved BHLDN gown, embellished with florals and greenery. Tommy rocked a forest green linen suit and surprised his bride with a moonstone ring.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom’s crew made their way to Seventh Mountain Resort for cocktails and appetizers. The reception was decorated with custom wooden signage, bud vases overflowing with florals, and colorful linen napkins. The offbeat couple selected their favorite records as their guest book which is such a fun way to bring some personalty into your welcome table!!

One of my favorite moments from this day was when the bride slipped off to change into her grandmother’s wedding dress. The gown fit perfectly without alterations, and the look on her grandma’s face when she saw her brought many of us to tears. It was SUCH a special moment. This couple is full of life and positive energy and so was their best day ever. Congratulations Carly and Tommy!! Welcome to Married Life.
