Baby’s Breath and Boho Vibes – An Eclectic Backyard Wedding Reception

Mallory and Clay eloped in the beautiful mountains of Ouray, Colorado.   Afterwards, they came back to Texas to celebrate with family and friends in Clay’s parent’s backyard, which looks more like an incredible wedding venue than a house to us!   We are so excited to share some of our favorites from their reception.  Shout out to Skyler Styron for sharing images from this perfect day with us!

The couple’s family and friends came together to decorate this space with hand painted wood signs, lush floral arrangements, a gorgeous Persian rug, macrame chair backs, and dream catchers hanging from the trees that Mallory made herself (can we have one…or five??!). The decor was a bohemian dream come true!  We loved Mallory and Clay’s sweetheart table, complete with plush chairs, a massive floral runner of greenery, whites and reds, and bright napkins and water goblets.  The couple had yard games, a bucket list for the bride and groom and a Polaroid guest book!

A trendy lounge area was accompanied by the cutest photo booth, a vintage VW van from Vannagram ATX!

Inside Buda was celebrating the newlyweds on the mantle, next to a gold dinosaur and a sign that read “Party Hard“!  Can we also talk about how amazing these emerald green velvet couches are?

Mallory and Clay had a gorgeous wedding cake, four semi-naked tiers covered in fresh berries and powdered sugar.  We love when couple’s mix florals and fruits in their wedding day decor!!

Mallory’s dress was light and airy, with a flirty slit in the skirt and a lace bodice.  She wore an oversized baby’s breath flower crown sprinkled with white roses.  We loved her non-traditional bridal shoes and natural beauty.  They were both glowing all night, but especially in these just before dark photos Skyler snapped of them on the stone pathway.

These two thoroughly enjoyed cutting their cake and were all smiles sharing their first bite on a funky plate with a skeleton bride and groom.
