Andrea and Kevin had the perfect boho forest wedding at the Sentinel Tree in Big Trees State Park in Northern, California. Ashley Purple was there to make sure these two never forget these magical memories and we’re so excited to share photos with you today!
The day was beautifully simple, elegant, free-spirited, and full of joy and laughter, says Ashley. Bride Andrea wore a stunning lace Free People dress and bridal shoes decorated in gold flowers. Her bouquet by Country Flower Hutch had the perfect combination of blush and burgundy florals that matched the greenery covered arrangement framing the ceremony’s wooden arch. The bride and groom decorated the aisle with bright and colorful Persian rugs and a sign that read “Gather Here With Grateful Hearts”. How beautiful!
The couple’s son had the very important job of ring bearer. He held the two unique rings in a glass box and wore the cutest navy blue suit and trendy brown shoes. Andrea’s father walked her and the bright eyed boy down the aisle. All three of them smiling from ear to ear. We love how they even incorporated him in their sand ceremony, a moment where two (or, in this case, three) individuals become one by pouring different colored sand into a single glass vase. In front of twelve of their closest family and friends, Andrea and Kevin shared their first kiss as husband and wife.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom walked into the sunset to take stunning photos in golden fields. When they returned, their guests joined them for group pictures in front of the most incredible macrame backdrop. Her MOH wore a red velvet dress we’ll probably dream about!
We love elopement dinners. No hustle and bustle of buffet lines, plated meals for 250+ or DJ announcements. Just a small group of people, sitting at a table making memories. Andrea and Kevin chose Alchemy Market. They ditched the sweetheart table for macrame chair decor that read Better Together, and prayed before sipping on cocktails, listening to heartfelt speeches, and cutting the most adorable tiny cake.
