As Endless as the Ocean - Steph and Jonathan's Stunning Casa Marina Hotel Wedding Day

When we saw Emily Mathewson’s photos from this wedding day we were speechless. The colorful white and blue florals by The Wild Thistle, the sandy kisses at sunset, and so many romantic first kisses. This couple said I do in January 2020, right before the world got a little bit crazy. We feel full of joy that they were able to celebrate their love with family and friends at the beautiful Casa Marina Hotel.

Our favorite details? Our breath was taken away seeing Steph in her gown. It’s lace sleeves and long silky train where so perfect for the beach. She looked incredible and Jonathan’s reaction when he saw her walk down the aisle was heartwarming. We also loved the florals! Blue is our favorite wedding color and Steph used it wonderfully. Indigo ribbon floated off her bouquet in the ocean breeze, bridesmaids wore beautiful emerald dresses that complimented the light blue in their bouquets. Her cake had pretty blue and white flowers climbing up three tiers to the Just Married banner on top. We loved it all!!

Our favorite moments? Steph and Jonathan chose to share their vows before the wedding in a first “touch”. We think this is such an intimate and perfect way to share moments before the ceremony together without ruining the wedding dress surprise. After the wedding, the couple ran through their sparkler exit right into the ocean for one last sandy dance and photo opportunity. Their carefree and fun spirit is something you can feel through the gorgeous photos.
